Description

Full Circle Farm Therapeutic Horsemanship (FCFTH) program is located in Newport, NH and is seeking a part-time office manager with grant writing experience for their PATH Intl. accredited equine assisted services for children and adults. Responsibilities include:
• Prepare proposals and grant applications, along with professional and administrative work in researching, identifying, vetting, developing, and responding to public and private grant opportunities in the areas of Special Needs (Autism, Mental Health, Social Services, and Physical Disabilities), and Equine-Assisted Services (which include: Equine-Assisted Therapeutic Riding, Equine-Assisted Psychotherapy and Equine-Assisted Learning)
• Research and identify new corporate, foundations, and private funding prospects
• Work with the Board of Directors
• Generate proposals and supporting documents in response to solicitations
• Generate timely submissions of well-researched, well-written, well-documented grant/fundraising proposals to secure client programs and services revenues
• Write reports to corporate, foundations, and other funders
• May serve as a liaison to funding agencies or organizations
• Assist with annual fund drive, planned giving and special events
• Administrative support, assisting participants and volunteers
• Special projects as needed and other duties as assigned

The hours for this part-time position are Tuesday - Saturday, flexible schedule and 20 hours per week.

Qualifications

The successful candidate will have 2-3 years related office and grant writing experience, an Associate’s degree in Business Management or a combination of education and experience. Computer skills required include Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Quick Books. Strong written, verbal and communication skills are necessary. Previous data base management experience is helpful.
