Gray Farms
Description
Daily take care of feeding or rotating herds (350 mommas split into 5 herds). Same for calves, when they're being backgrounded. After that is fence mending and pasture care.
We have a lot of projects going to improve the farm, so two part time people may prove better.
Qualifications
Need an ability to learn, keep a routine without hand holding, and care about what they're doing. Experience is great, but has proven to not matter compared to someone that wants to do the job right or at all.
Benefits
Right now, the biggest benefit is flexibility. We don't have business hours and don't need to be there for the work to get done. Cattle require a person to be flexible and we can do the same in return, i.e. doctor's visits, family events, vacations, etc.
