Description
This employee would help with hog chores, including spreading manure by tractor in the field. They would also help with maintenance chores around the farm and possibly do some field work. Our work week is generally Monday through Friday, with weekend chores shared with other workers. The work day is usually 7:00 am to 5:00 pm, except for planting and harvesting seasons and emergencies.
Qualifications
It would be desirable to have a high school diploma or GED. This person would need to be in good physical condition and be able to work with other people. Tractor driving experience would be a plus, as woul d working with hogs.
Benefits
This person would begin as an hourly worker. Depending on the quality of their work and their dependability, they could be put on salary instead of hourly, which would give them paid vacation days and business days, as well as a raise in pay. We also pay ½ of 2 AFLAC policies.
