Description
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented REMOTE livestock appraiser to join our team. This person would serve as a subject matter expert who displays a track record of knowledgeability of poultry and livestock private property appraisals. The candidate should be intimately familiar with the USPAP and all of its nuances, and must demonstrate measurable past performance capacity in both the appraisal of livestock and vetting other appraisers.
This is a remote PART-TIME position, consisting of 10-20 flexible hours per week
Pay rate will be $35/hour paid on 1099 weekly
-Serve as chief subject matter expert/SME on all areas of poultry and livestock appraisal
- Stay up to date with local, state and federal regulations related to livestock appraisal PARTICULARLY THE UNIFORM STANDARDS OF PROFESSIONAL APPRAISAL PRACTICE(USPAP)
- Assist and direct efforts to collect and standardize a national database
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal
- Working knowledge of MS office and other basic computer software
- Strong financial report writing skills
- proficiency in data collection and analysis techniques
-ability to conduct quantitative research for accurate valuations
- ability and willingness to collaborate with state and local agricultural organizations as well as national certification and professional organizations.
