Brooks Marlenee Farms

Brooks Marlenee Farms is a

medium sized farming operation in Scobey, MT. Brooks operates his farm as well as his late father’s farm with the help of his mother Pat. With one ‘full time’ employee other than himself, he also hires 2-3 other employees from April through harvest, which is usually mid October. The main crop planted on the farm is spring wheat but he also plants durum and lentils occasionally. He farms around 10,000 acres with much of it butting up against the Canadian boarder. The days are long on the farm especially in the summer, but worth it and the scenery is amazing!
