Dairy Farm Calf / Heifer Herds Person Position available on 500 cow, family-owned, modern dairy farm in East Central Iowa. . Salary and benefit package based on experience and education.

Responsibilities include caring for new born calves and heifers until they weigh 200 pounds. Will also be responsible for working with the vet on vaccination, treatment, and animal welfare protocols.

MUST be responsible, dependable, and an independent thinker.

Experience caring for animals or people.  Relevant experience could be caring for:

• Animals

• Babies

• Hospital patients

• The elderly

Dairy farm experience and/or education is a plus but not necessary.

If you have the right attitude toward care giving we can train you to work in our environment.

High school diploma or GED

A degree in nursing or a CNA is a big plus.

Must have a valid driver's license and able to drive farm tractors
