Milker/General Farm work (6852)

Fading D Farm is looking for a Full Time employee for our Water Buffalo Dairy in North Carolina. This is a unique opportunity to gain experience working with these gentle animals.

Schedule in Sunday through Thursday.

Milking is currently once per day and milking days will be split with one other employee. Milking days will also include feeding calves/cows and cleaning. Days when not milking will be spent on general farm work including fencing, pasture maintenance, assisting with breeding etc.

Must have a valid drivers license. Must be motivated to self task and able to perform the work required.

Farming experience working with large animals preferred but not required.

Dairy experience preferred.

Health Care Sharing Plan membership paid by employer.

10 PTO days per year.

Holidays taken on non milking day closest to Holiday.
