Black Cat Farm, an organic bastion of sustainable agriculture, thrives on providing both our local community and our acclaimed, Michelin Green Star Boulder restaurant, Bramble and Hare, with fresh, seasonally harvested, organic produce. Our farm offers seasonal CSAs, operates a year-round stand in Boulder, and is a proud participant in the Boulder and Longmont summer farmers markets. We are currently on the lookout for a full-time Harvest and Market Operations Manager to become a part of our dynamic team.
As the Harvest and Market Manager, you'll be at the heart of our operations, managing all aspects of our farm's harvest. This includes combining leadership, organization, and hands-on work to coordinate a team of up to 18 employees, and managing the farmers' markets and farm stand operation, harvest management, and administrative tasks. This role requires a candidate who is dedicated to the agricultural industry and commits to providing exceptional independently driven work.
Qualifications
Previous experience in farm management, crop production, and farmers' market operations.
Strong leadership and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Knowledge of organic farming practices and a passion for local, organic produce.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Physical fitness and ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
Flexibility and adaptability to handle changing priorities.
A positive attitude and energetic willingness to work.
Spanish speaking is a plus
