As the Sr Agronomist - Regenerative Agriculture, you’ll work globally to accelerate regenerative transitions by visioning, developing, and implementing regenerative farm plans that are attainable and aligned with the land manager’s long-term vision for improved economic and environmental performance. You will work to advance opportunities for farmers to be a part of the solution for climate change and drive the evolution of agriculture to make these opportunities a reality.

Assess and benchmark soil health in the field, conduct in-field soil sampling, and interpret analysis of lab test results
Design tailored cover crop blends to address field-level soil conditions and understand no-till/cover crop implementation
Participate and contribute as a member of cross-functional teams
Communicate results of development through oral presentations and timely, written technical documentation and reports
Conduct all activity in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and all required Company policies and procedures
Provide product and technical input and assistance within the R&D Network and externally
Collaborate with other Purina R&D centers and Regional Applications Groups

Qualifications

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
5+ years of professional experience with 2+ of those years of experience working in regenerative agriculture
1+ years of experience with partner and funding resource opportunities

Other

Master’s Degree is preferred
Degree focused on agricultural sciences, agronomy, sustainable agriculture, sustainable farming systems, integrated farming systems, soil science, or related field is preferred
Have obtained or willingness to obtain certifications such as NRCS Soil Health Conservation Activity Practice technical service provider or Savory’s Holistic Management Accredited Professional certificate
Travel as necessary domestic and international 50%

The approximate pay range for this position is $94,000 to $115,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location.
