Farm Worker/ Hand (7161)

Seeking self-motivated farm worker to join our team. This is a full time position with advancement opportunities. This position will grow with candidate's abilities.  Farm care, horse-handling, barn cleaning, fence repair.

Hope & Healing At Hillenglade, a 501(c)3 non-profit charitable organization, provides equine- assisted programs free-of-charge that offer time away in the country for active service members, veterans, first responders and their families to experience the positive impact and therapeutic power of horses.

Job entails: drive a small tractor, repair equipment, fix fences, grounds maintenance including some mowing, horse handling, mucking stalls, barn organization, use of power tools,

Flexibility, people skills, ability to lift 75lbs, knowledge of farm equipment, and their maintenance ( changing oil, etc.), horse handling, power tool competent, strong work ethic, and people skills.

All elements of farm management as listed in Responsibilities.

Horse handling, Mowing, fence repair (carpentry), experience with military and first responders, candidate is  ideally a veteran, but not mandatory. Communication skills, flexibility, self- motivated.

High school diploma or greater

There is a small trailer with a fenced in courtyard. Well-behaved dog considered. All utilities and wi-fi included. For use of clubhouse with full kitchen, washer/dryer and community space.

We will pay $15 minus first 27 hours per month (work for board). At least a 40 hour week.
