The Opportunity
The ranch is seeking a full time ranch hand for duties that will include ranch facility maintenance management, regenerative and rotational cattle grazing, low stress management, cattle genetics, horsemanship and land stewardship.
Hands-on experiences/duties will include:

Farm or Business Description
Frontiera Ranch is a 1200 acre Ranch located in the SE corner of Wyoming along the Colorado and Nebraska borders between Pawnee national and Wyoming State grasslands. With a growing Highland Cattle Cow/Calf breeding operation (40+) and 5 Horses, the ranch was established in recent years and has made significant investments in new structures, fencing and water facilities throughout what was once adjoining grazing lands.
The ranch is committed to regenerative rotational grazing, low stress cattle management practices, pursuing targeted genetic breeding outcomes, land conservation and stewardship. The ranch is a member of the American Highland Cattle Association and has a growing fold of registered, pure bred Highlands.

Qualifications
- Experience caring for and managing Cattle and Horses - riding not a requirement
- Experience on ranch/farm operations
- Operation of both small and heavy equipment (tractors , skid steer, utvs) desirable but will train.
- Mechanical / Maintainence experience desireable
Experience Requirements
Requirements:
Ability and willingness to work hours as needed ( including weekends) - some days lighter than others
- Experience with Cattle and horses
- Experience on ranch/farm operations, both small and heavy equipment (tractors , skid steer, utvs) desirable but will train.
- Willingness to learn and commitment to animal and ranch health
- Willingness and ability to manage part time interns in an ongoing cooperation with the University of Wyoming
- Valid U.S. Driver’s license (clean), no drugs
