Description
Full-time position working on a mid-sized family farm with row-crop production and beef cattle. Responsibilities primarily center around trucking grain but also operating farm machinery. This includes but is may not be limited to classic and late model tractors, skid loader and combine along with implements such as planters, grain carts, hay rakes and balers. Cattle chores comprise mainly of grinding feed and fence/facility maintenance but may also involve sorting.
Qualifications
We are seeking someone with a strong work ethic who is prompt and can work variable hours. A positive attitude and good communication skills are essential. You must have an ability to perform physical tasks indoors and out including lifting and adapting to changing work environments when needed. Experience operating farm machinery is a must along with a CDL or willingness to get one. A background with livestock is preferred. Shop skills are a plus but not necessary. High school degree minimum.
