Barn Hand (7241)

Looking for find an experienced candidate, to work at a small private dressage barn Friday-Sundays. More hours may be available for the right person.

Feeding hay, 8 horses (3x day), grain (2x day)

Cleaning water buckets, and refilling

Cleaning 8-9 stalls twice a day

Turning horses out (weather dependent)

Cleaning turnouts

Dumping and refilling water troughs

Picking horses feet once a day

Blanketing

Putting fly masks, bell boot, and leg protection on

General cleaning, sweeping, and dusting of barns

Knowledge of driving small tractors, and operating a manure spread

Must be 21, have 3+ years of experience with horses, reliable own transportation, and references. We are looking to fill this position long term.

Salary Range: Starting is $17.00 with room to increase
