Nestled in a little holler in western, middle Tennessee where turkey, deer and fishing abounds.
Farm includes dairy goats, cattle, rabbits, chickens,

Responsibilities

Learning to work with the land and the weather to maximize effort in accomplishing necessary tasks.
Standard domestic duties such as cooking cleaning laundry, as well as Fencing, chopping firewood, feeding the livestock, clearing secondary forest growth, Learning how to operate standard farm equipment, The list goes on!

Qualifications

You must be in good health, Willing to work long hours and appreciate the natural beauty around you. On occasion work without supervision And bring your own experiences to the table.

Experience Requirements

Some familiarity with farm equipment would be nice! A safety mentality is a must, farm equipment can be dangerous!

Educational Requirements

If you’re interested in off grid, homesteading, You should have been trying to glean information from the Internet by now. No special educational requirements necessary other than the school of hard knocks!

Skills

Being able to work with your hands, safely. All skills are necessary on a farm. Plumbing, electrical carpentry, fencing, wood harvesting…

Benefits

Room and board Are included in this package. Work clothing, boots, safety equipment… This is an approximate $2000 benefit package. There is no Health Insurance or retirement plan.
