Goat and Chicken Farm Hand (+/- future ranch hand)

Location: Perry, Florida

Part-time position, could progress to a full-time position as Farm grows.

Working on an organic small vegetable, fruit tree, free range goat and chicken dairy, and meat farm. 20 acre Farm with hunting availability. We will produce other dairy milk in the future. 100% grass-fed goats, free-range chicken eggs, and pastured poultry. No chemicals used. May incorporate other breeds i.e., sheep, cattle and etc. as farm grows.

Require someone who will take ownership of work, work in all types of weather, proactively engage in improving methods and processes, self-motivated, able to work without supervision, and has a strong work ethic.

This is a non-smoking, drug free property.

Need a clean background check, good customer interaction skills and a vision for Organic homesteading.

- [ ] Fence building (permanent and temporary)

- [ ] Equipment operation (tractors, chainsaws, lawnmowers, small power and hand tools, and etc.)

- [ ] Pasture maintenance

- [ ] Working in all types of weather

- [ ] Working with goats (dairy and meat), however, willing to help with future sheep, cattle and etc. farm animals.

- [ ] Rotational grazing

- [ ] Assisting with birthing and medical as needed

- [ ] Milking, when necessary

- [ ] Maintenance, farm building construction (Handyman, carpentry and welding skills a plus)

- [ ] Ability to maintain equipment

- [ ] Ability to lift up to 50lbs repeatedly

- [ ] Willing and able to make decisions in a fluid environment

Can negotiate RV area, housing or room availability. May negotiate the housing or future boarding of your horse and etc.

Must have own Transportation
