Broiler Farm Manager (7430)

The Broiler Farm Manager is responsible for monitoring the health of chickens, taking prompt action in case of disease or injury.  The worker will be involved in multiple tasks that ensure the health and safety of the poultry while maintaining the farm's operational standards. The role requires physical labor and adherence to biosecurity and animal welfare guidelines in a farm environment.

• The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining clean facilities, performing repairs, and ensuring the well-being of our poultry
• Manage the daily operations of the pullet farm, including feeding, watering, and monitoring the health of 80,000 chickens
• Ensure that the facilities are kept clean and well-maintained at all times
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on barns, equipment, and infrastructure
• Set up, take down, and wash barns according to established protocols
• Monitor environmental conditions and implement measures to optimize the health and well-being of the chickens

• Previous experience managing a large-scale Broiler farm
• Strong understanding of poultry husbandry, including nutrition, health, and behavior
• Mechanical aptitude and experience with farm equipment maintenance and repair
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
