We are looking for an enthusiastic, hard working individual who wants to share and enhance their farming skills and be a part of our community. This is a great position for someone who wants to work outdoors on a diverse production and educational farm. The assistant farm manager is responsible for helping the farm manager to plan, execute, and help guide the rest of farm team throughout the season.

Camp Glen Brook is an educational non-profit in southwest NH. We do year round programming, including a summer camp, school groups and a GAP program. Responsibilities
Assist the Farm Manager on our small, diverse, biodynamic farm.
This includes primarily caring for our acre of vegetables, fruit, and flowers, and working with our small flock of sheep, cows, goats, laying hens & broilers, and pigs.
Educating children, young adults, and families on our farm.
Work with the Farm Manager to harvest, wash/pack, and deliver produce to the camp kitchen as well as sales/donations within the local community.
Assist the Farm Manager with the planning and execution of farm goals.
Keep farm production records.
Weekend chores on a rotating basis with other farmers.
Help slaughter and process livestock on site (flexible on this, as some belief systems don’t allow for participation in this work).
Attending weekly staff meetings, weekly work together time, and some professional development opportunities.
Preserving farm products with the kitchen staff.
Upkeep of the aesthetics of the farm, especially before big events
Experience Requirements
