Assistant Herd Manager (7231)

We are a family dairy farm that milks 1,000 cows three times a day. We are looking for someone that is willing to work hard to help our dairy grow and improve our productivity while maintaining good herd health.

Assisting the herd manager in day to day activities including treating cows, vaccinations, and milk quality management

Calving assistance

Complete care of newborn calves 10 days and younger

Manage the heifer reproduction program

The ideal candidate will have some dairy experience, be self-motivated, and willing to work 50+ hours a week.
