Estate Manager (7114)

Hands-on estate manager focused on facilities, farm, landscaping, construction, and woodland management for clients extensive properties in Massachusetts and Maine. Estate includes the clients residence, a working animal and produce farm, vacation homes, and office.

Responsible for all maintenance and preventative care to ensure a safe and healthy living environment at all properties while maintaining and enhancing the value of all properties, and protecting privacy and confidentiality of the client.

 To provide maintenance and all service needs to 8 properties in South Hamilton and Gloucester, Massachusetts. Occasional maintenance to one property in Maine would also be required. The following responsibilities include: the upkeep of security systems, HVAC, pool systems, electrical, painting, snow removal, landscaping, lawn care, tree trimming, wood chipping, waterfront work, dock commissioning and decommissioning, boat launching, boat service assistance, winterization, spring openings, storm preparations and clean up, trash management, vacation checks, fireplaces, deliveries, sauna, irrigation systems, irrigation system repairs, irrigation system clocks, well systems, RO systems, water softeners, generators, propane tanks, lutron system, solar system, solar hot water, tool maintenance, machine maintenance and service, event preparation, event clean up, lake weed management, tree removal, flag and flagpole maintenance.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, MS Project, Excel, with prior experience and understanding of integrated home technology and security systems.

• 10+ years in similar role or related experience required (including an understanding of all major construction trades).
• Ability to operate farm machinery such as tractors, etc.
• Experienced in agronomy/turf management.
• Current valid drivers license required.
• Ability to drive tractors, loaders, and use tractor implements.
• Ability to make repairs to equipment and vehicles.
