Farm and Market Help (7306)

We are hiring 2-3 more people for this season to round out our small team, which usually totals 5-7 people (a mix of full and part-time folks). Duties will include most aspects of small farm production, from bed prep and planting, to cultivation, plant care (pruning, trellising, etc), cultivation and weeding, harvesting and post-harvest handling. The open positions include staffing our farmers' market booth for most of the summer, so do include Saturday duties at least half of the weeks.

We are looking for people who are hard-working, good communicators, motivated to learn, perform well in a fast-paced environment. Previous farm experience preferred. People applying to this position should be able to commit to a minimum work season of mid-April through early November, but crew who are a good fit are encouraged to continue on through the winter. Hourly wage with overtime pay. Paid time off accrues at a rate of 80 hours worked (equivalent to 13 days in a full year). On-farm housing available in tiny-home style cabin with power, heat, and basic cooking setup (sorry no pets). Opportunities for year-round work, specialization and training, and moving up in responsibility level as employees learn and get established.
