Farm Animal Caretaker (7238)

If so, this full-time livestock position in Southern Maryland may be for you.  Annual salary $48k - $78k.  Must be able to work 7 days a week (some days for only a few hours) in all weather conditions.  Furnished housing in a separate fully modern 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom house on the farm may be an optional benefit for the right candidate, along with farm fresh eggs.  No smoking permitted on this farm.   Must have work references and prior animal experience.

Kaizen Parks Care Farm is intended to be a nonprofit Christian therapeutic ministry.  The sheep, llamas, goats, and other animals on the farm provide comfort for traumatized people, and the animals must be well cared for.

See description, above.  The animals require clean housing, food, and water daily.  A detailed document with daily and weekly and as needed tasks can be provided to serious job candidates.  It may be possible for 2 people to perform the tasks if they coordinate well and split the salary.

Internship opportunity is available for person(s) interested in learning shepherd skills or fiber arts.
