Description
Buffalo Trail Orchard is East Tennessee’s favorite farm! We’re a Century Farm that has been growing crops and raising cattle since James Collins purchased the first 34 acres in 1890.
These days we start the year in June with blackberries. Blueberries and peaches come in July, followed by apples which ripen throughout the fall into November. Each Fall our plums pumpkin patch is covered with a wide variety of homegrown pumpkins!
Qualifications
This work is mainly outdoors in various conditions and will include Apple pruning thinning and harvest of fruit, picking, packing and general crop management of plums and pumpkin.
Due to the high physical demands of these positions, workers will need to be physically fit and self-motivated. You may be on your feet for extended periods and required to perform repetitive manual tasks. Opportunities to upskill and job-specific training will be offered to acceptable candidates.

Experience in this field will be an advantage but not necessary.
The hourly rate will be under the Horticulture Award
