Farmhand for Diversified Livestock Farm (7138)

The farm raises 100% grass-fed beef, lamb, goat, pork and poultry for sale at farmers markets. The farm operates a farm stay, seasonal restaurant (Fable=farm+table) for events, farm tours and workshops. Responsibilities may include livestock care, on-farm poultry slaughter, farmers markets sales, agri-tourism and value-added food processing. Six day work week with Mondays off.

We can only accept applications from applicants with a valid green card or work permit visa.  We are unable to host a worker via H-2A temporary agricultural program.

Desired skills are enthusiasm, creative thinking, problem solving, carpentry, veterinary, physically fit and excellent social skills.

Private house included. Food. Hourly pay cash or payroll.

Salary Range: $17 -$20 hour
