Description
We are seeking a dedicated Agricultural Field Foreman to lead daily field operations across orchard and farm properties throughout Fresno, Madera, and Merced Counties. This is a full-time, hands-on leadership role (45–55 hours per week, early mornings) overseeing agricultural chemical applications, crew performance, equipment readiness, and regulatory compliance in active production agriculture.
This position is ideal for someone with strong agricultural roots, field leadership experience, and a commitment to safety, efficiency, and stewardship.
Qualifications
Organize and supervise daily agricultural chemical applications in orchard and farm settings
Lead and supervise a field crew of up to 6 employees
Provide hands-on training in safe application methods and equipment operation
Promote productivity, accountability, and team development
Communicate daily field objectives clearly in English and Spanish
Evaluate crew performance and report directly to the Field Manager
Ensure full compliance with all Federal, State, and Local agricultural regulations, including: Pesticide laws and DPR requirements, Worker safety and labor laws and Vehicle and equipment regulations
Maintain a strong safety culture in all field operations
Maintain accurate daily application records and chemical use logs
Track quad and vehicle maintenance records
Ensure equipment is clean, calibrated, and field-ready
Document field conditions and job details with precision
Qualifications
Valid California Driver’s License with clean driving record
Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred
Prior agricultural field supervision experience (or proven ability to lead a crew of 6) preferred
Strong knowledge of agricultural operations and chemical application
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Detail-oriented with a high level of regulatory awareness
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather and field conditions
