Description

Our farm is out in the desert, so summers are hot, and winters can be chilly in the mornings and at night. You’ll be working outside a lot, getting your hands dirty, lifting feed bags, fixing fences, and making sure the chickens are happy and protected. It’s a physical job, but if you like working with animals, solving problems, and being outside, it could be a great fit. No fancy experience needed—just a good attitude, a willingness to learn, and the ability to handle the day-to-day tasks of farm life!

Qualifications

We’re looking for a dependable, hardworking person to help out on our s mall chicken farm in Amargosa Valley, NV. The job includes taking care of the chickens, collecting eggs, keeping their space safe and clean, feeding them, and fixing things around the farm when needed. We’re also looking for someone who can get creative with ways to cut down on feed costs while keeping the chickens healthy—like growing mealworms, microgreens, or alfalfa.

Benefits

While housing is available on-site, you’ll need to provide your own food and your own personal items. This position is ideal for someone eager to learn new skills in farming, looking for a quiet and peaceful place to work, and who enjoys the satisfaction of hands-on, meaningful work.
