Description
This is a hands-on role that directly supports small-scale food production, featuring work with our milking herd and farmstead creamery. Responsibilities include milking and herd care, assisting with cheese production, cleaning and sanitizing equipment, packaging dairy products, restocking the farm store, and supporting daily creamery operations. The position offers 30–40 hours per week, usually Sundays and Mondays off, and a mix of routine and seasonal farm tasks.
Qualifications
Ideal candidates are reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable with hands-on physical wor k. They should be eager to learn, able to follow written procedures, and communicate clearly with team members. Attention to cleanliness and organization is essential. Experience with farming, food production, or animals is helpful but not required. A positive attitude, adaptability, and willingness to contribute to a small team environment are key.
