Description
We are seeking a capable, trustworthy individual or couple to serve as Property Caretaker(s) for a quiet, privately owned rural property in Coventry, Rhode Island. This is a long‑term opportunity with a mix of outdoor property care and general stewardship.
The role is intentionally flexible and can evolve over time based on skills and interest.
Responsibilities may include:
- Land and grounds maintenance (mowing, brush clearing, trails, seasonal tasks)
- Light agricultural or garden support
- Monitoring and maintaining buildings, fencing, and equipment
- Preventative maintenance and coordinating repairs as needed
- Acting as a reliable, on‑site steward of the property
Ideal candidate(s):
- Prior experience as a caretaker, property steward, farmhand, or similar
- Comfortable working independently in a rural environment
- Practical, organized, and proactive
- Strong sense of responsibility and respect for privacy
- Individual or established domestic couple both considered
Compensation & logistics:
- Compensation based on experience and scope of responsibilities
- Flexible schedule
- On‑site housing available for the right candidate(s) (2-bed, 1-bath guest house with garage and separate driveway)
- Long‑term arrangement preferred
