Riding Stable Operations Team Member

Townline Riding Stables has an immediate opening for an operations and maintenance team member. The ideal candidate will have the ability to work with stable hands and customers to create a pleasant environment for both.

Townline Stables is a horse and people friendly Pleasure Barn set in over 100  acres with multiple pastures and paddocks for our beloved steeds. The atmosphere we strive to create is an Oasis where people come to relax and enjoy their horses and mingle with other horse owners. We have a huge indoor arena, outdoor arena and trails around the property. There are miles of Forest Preserve trails on our doorstep. This is a great place to live and work.

The team brings the horses out to their pastures or paddocks in the morning and back to their stalls in the afternoon.

Also, cleans out the stalls and puts down clean shavings in the mornings.  Afternoons is devoted to projects, including  landscaping, painting, woodwork and maintenance of the farm buildings.

Experience in handling horses is highly desirable.  We are looking for a  Team Player who is not afraid of hard work and who also takes pride in their work

High school education or equivalent

High comfort level being around animals ideally handling horses.  Able to handle a variety of tools, drive a tractor,

We have 8-hour workdays 6 days a week.  We pay $15.00 an hour to start or more depending on your skills and experience.  We pay bonuses (cash) and workers receive tips from Clients twice a year.

We have workers compensation coverage for all our hires both contractors and employees.  We provide work clothes and chiropractic care.  Free Lunch several times a month.  We offer full training and are dedicated to  building the skills of our Team
