Description
Come learn how to biodynamically grow 40+ different varieties of vegetables and fruits on the farm with the oldest CSA in the country! Temple Wilton Community Farm is a biodynamic farm that produces vegetables, fruit, milk, yogurt, cheese, eggs, and meat. Biodynamic farming is a holistic, ecological, and ethical approach to farming, gardening, food, and nutrition. Biodynamics seeks not only to feed the body with the best organic food, but the mind and spirit as well. Biodynamics views the farm as an integrated whole living organism and as such focuses on such principles as closed loop nutrient cycling, producing all the fertilizer the farm needs, on the farm, through rotational grazing, crop rotation, cover cropping, and biodynamic composting practices.
