Assistant Manager – Vegetable Production (7362)

We are looking for a hands-on, experienced individual to manage vegetable production for a local family farm.

• Oversee the cultivation of corn, tomatoes, watermelons, and onions
• Operate farm equipment including tractors for cultivating, spraying, and harvesting
• Manage irrigation systems and schedules
• Assist with planning, planting, and harvest timelines
• Manage and direct work crews

• Proven experience growing the crops listed above
• Skilled in tractor operation
• Knowledge of irrigation methods and systems
• Strong work ethic and ability to work independently
• Leadership and management skills

• Full-time position
• Immediate start, with work through October
• Potential for year-round employment for the right candidate
• Assistant Manager with potential for full-management responsibilities
• Pay based on experience
