Description
We’re hiring full-time help on a regenerative livestock farm. This is physical, outdoor work and cultural fit matters.
This is not a hobby farm job and it is not easy work.
You must be willing to work outside in all weather, especially rain. When it rains, the animals still need care, fences still need fixing, water still needs checking, and the work still has to get done. If working in the rain is a problem, this is not the right fit.
This job includes:
Blistering hot summers
Long days in the rain, mud, cold, and wind
Lifting, moving animals, fixing infrastructure, operating equipment, and staying productive when conditions are uncomfortable
If you want easy or climate-controlled work, this is not the right fit.
We are looking for someone who is dependable, handy, and has basic mechanical/common-sense skills. Farm experience is helpful, but not required. We will teach the right person.
Do you eat grass-finished beef because you understand its value?
Do you intentionally seek out pasture-raised pork and chicken?
Do you understand why animals are rotationally grazed daily and how it benefits the land, forage, and livestock?
If those questions already make sense to you, you’re probably the type of person we’re looking for.
We raise grass-finished beef and pasture-raised pork and poultry. We care about doing things the right way and are looking for someone who takes pride in their work and wants to be part of a strong team.
Schedule
Full-time — approximately 40 hours per week
Farm hours are 6:30 AM – 4:30 PM Monday through Friday
Weekend hours are 6:30 AM – 10:00 AM Saturday and Sunday
You will be required to work one weekend morning per week, either Saturday or Sunday
Since weekend work is required, the weekly schedule will include one weekday off or adjusted weekday hours to keep the position around 40 hours
We are mostly flexible on which days you work, but we need someone who can reliably work 40 hours per week and one weekend morning
Pay
This is a W2 position.
Salary TBD based on experience
Paid monthly on the 15th of each month
Pay is through direct deposit
Location
We are located near Hwy 393 and Poverty Creek Road. Applicants with a drive time longer than approximately 30 minutes will not be considered.
What we’re looking for
Strong work ethic and personal responsibility
Basic hands-on/mechanical ability
Willingness to learn and follow direction
Ability to work outdoors in all conditions, including rain
Respect for animals, land, and teammates
Someone who understands or strongly values regenerative agriculture
We have a passionate, hard-working team and are looking for the right person to add—not just fill a spot.
