Farm Mechanic (7395)

Blue Moon Acres is looking to hire a farm mechanic.

Blue Moon Acres is a year-round greenhouse and farm operation seeking an experienced mechanical maintenance person. Blue Moon Acres is a 33-year-old family business that has become a well-recognized name in the food industry. Our greens can be found on the plates of fine restaurants throughout New York City, Philadelphia, and across the east coast. In 2008, we began growing Certified Organic produce and rice on our farm in Pennington, NJ. Owners Jim and Kathy are dedicated to growing the highest quality produce with the least amount of environmental impact.

Requirements/Qualifications:
Ideal candidate would be fluent in many aspects of maintenance repair.
Knowledge of electrical and electrical circuitry and the ability to troubleshoot.
Knowledge of basic auto repair for gasoline engines.
Some plumbing knowledge is helpful.
Welding and basic fabrication is a plus.
Maintain a preventative maintenance schedule with equipment and delivery trucks.
