Description
We operate 19 irrigation pivots, and we're looking for someone reliable, experienced, or highly motivated to manage them. The right candidate will be responsible for keeping our pivots running efficiently and ensuring crops get the water they need.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor and manage all 19 center pivot irrigation systems
Troubleshoot and solve mechanical or electrical issues
Perform regular maintenance and timely repairs
Ensure optimal water distribution and efficiency
Communicate with farm management regarding system performance
Maintain logs and records of inspections and repairs
Qualifications
Experience with pivot irrigation systems OR a strong willingness to learn
Mechanical aptitude required; electrical background is a strong plus
Ability to work independently and manage multiple pivots
Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
Must be dependable and safety-conscious
