Vineyard Laborer (7545)

We are seeking a dedicated and versatile Laborer to support vineyard, landscape and wine/beer operations. This role involves hands-on work in outdoor environments, operating machinery, pruning, harvesting, and performing maintenance tasks. The ideal candidate will have experience working with grape vines (although we are willing to train the right candidate), and outdoor manual labor. This position offers an opportunity to develop skills in agriculture, and animal husbandry within a dynamic farm setting. We would welcome an individual with knowledge of, or willingness to learn and implement regenerative practices. Further opportunities to assist with wine and beer making, and its support roles

Proven experience with farm machinery operation including tractors, Electric fencing, and irrigation systems
Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and use of sharpening tools
Ability to operate outdoor power equipment, and landscaping tools.
Ability to operate welding equipment, and perform basic welding tasks a plus
Animal husbandry experience a plus
Experience in agriculture-related fields such as horticulture, greenhouse management, or farming practices
Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to farming activities
Outdoor work experience in various weather conditions with a focus on safety and efficiency
Position necessitates some lifting of heavy loads, and the ability to perform physical labor for extended periods while maintaining safety protocols. Creative thought processes about how to go about these tasks welcome.
This role is vital for supporting the daily operations of our Vineyard facility. Candidates should be adaptable, safety-conscious, and eager to contribute to a productive farming environment

Contract labor or salaried. Salary dependent on consideration like potential housing. Opportunities for assisting/ learning wine and beer making. Schedule flexibility: Job can be 3 or 4 days/week job has some weather restrictions.
